Leeds Shopping Haul

Last week, I got to spend a whole week back in my home of West Yorkshire - On the Wednesday I got to spend a lovely day in Leeds with my mum shopping and visting the handmade burger co. (honestly, best place ever).

I, as always, thought I'd show you what I ended up buying and with the high street in Mid Season Sale, whats not to love!...

 Primark
 Door hanging hearts - £2.50 for 3
Our house seems to be lacking much in decoration as we're currently renting and don't want the post-move deposit scandal that landlords love - but I think these are so cute for like doors or something in our hallways
Hufflepuff T-shirt - £6
I adore these shirts! I've been after the hogwarts one for ages so couldnt resist this! I obviously geeked out and got my house ;)

Floral Lantern Lights - £6
Again with the decoration thing, These are perfect for our bedroom as its currently very very bare on the walls but I'm hoping I can somehow put them round our unused curtain rail (we have a blind).

Wonder Towel Dress Thing - £7
This is one of those things that's either gonna be awful or a complete genius idea! I'm that girl that after a bath or shower spends ages with a towel wrapped round her whilst trying to keep it secure the whole time. I will report back with my thoughts :)

 The Simpsons PJ's - £6
I love any clothes that refer to popular culture, especially pajamas as I spend all my non-work hours in them! I also love The Simpsons and seem to have a growing collection of things with bart on!

Handbag - £8
I love love this bag! For Primark, its such a good quality. I'm quite a snob when it comes to Primark and do normally buy things that still look more expensive - and when the stitching looks tatty I won't buy it!

Victorias Secret
In the past I havent posted what I got from Victorias Secret but I dont see the issue now, I've only taken pictures of underwear patterns rather than wasting your time showing you my knickers!!

Coral and Pink Nightie - Was £45 Now £21 -
I adore this so so much! I wouldnt normally spend that much on a nightdress but its so so pretty and the colours are beautiful and its quite understated but the lace gives it that slight bit of something.

 Underwear - Was £9each Now £3 each
These are honestly the nicest underwear ever!!! I bought 3 pairs at full price a few months back and I can't believe how cheap they are now!!

Debenhams

Benefit Agent Zero Shine - £18 (Used debs points) - BUY
I've been after this for months now! Theres some really  good benefit products just come out but I decided I needed to get this as the warm weather has been making me shiny too so if theres a good time to review this on my skin, its now!

Topshop

 Underwear - 3 for £10 (£4 each) -
Rugrats - BUY
Eeeee how amazing are these!! I only wanted the Rugrat ones to start with but then I saw the Mermaid ones then I thought for £2 I'll get more haha!

Henry Holland Eye Test Tights - Was£12.50 Now£3 - BUY
So so happy I saw these! I wanted these back in March time when I saw them in the Nottingham branch and was debating buying them for full price and whilst having a mooch whils my mum was trying clothes on, I spotted the last pair of these are refused to let them go! So happy with this buy!

 Dolly Shoes - Was£22 Now£10 -
I spotted these quite late on (and had put things back) but thought they were adorable and perfect for nice weather!

ZARA
Addicted to Black Top - £9.99
Pizza T-shirt - £7.99

Urban Outfitters

AJ Morgan Sunglasses - Was £16 Now £8
I was actually on the hunt for some new sunglasses after losing mine! I guessed I'd be spending over £15 as its prime sunglass season so was rather happy to find these!!

Slam Dunk Festival: Fashion

On Saturday, I get to attend my favourite day of the whole year - Slam Dunk Festival in Leeds. 2014 marks my 7th year at the day long festival and its very much become a big part of me/ my music and my year.
This being so, I really wanted to incorporate my blog into it. Fashion/Beauty for the day was  something I think I've mastered now over the years and especially now I'm older - I know what to take with me on the day.

Weather you're a Slam Dunk newbie or an old-timer like me, I'm going to give you a quick run down of my Festival Fashion following with 2 more posts over the coming days!

I'd just like to point out - I'm not bothering with picking out 'festival attire' from high street sites for this as the one thing Slam Dunk shouldn't be (but of course it is) is a fashion parade. I know that makes my post seem quite hypocritical but I just don't see the point of looking like you're dressed for LFW if you're going into a room of sweaty boys and bands that will want to pour water over you!

This for me, tends to be what I have to choose from. My look (which has become a bit of a running joke amongst some friends) is always a band tee, denim shorts, vans and an American Apparel hoodie!
This year sees no different as my go-to outfit is the comfiest thing whilst still looking somewhat alright (or at least I pretend it is)

I also like to point out this outfit is perfect (given its May) for the weather - My hoodie, ironically, has a hood for a rainy spell and a bit of warmth to it when you leave at 11pm but the t-shirt and shorts are perfect for sun AND when it gets really hot - the dreaded SD 2012 - I can even take my tights off for ultimate scarefest!!

This year I've tried to stick to my perfected outfit but I have invested in some new bits purely because I don't get chance too anymore, and I fell abit in love with those shorts!

Brand New Tee- £15 - Bought from the Brand New gig I went too last month and I've cut the sleeves off - I've also perfected the art of avoiding any kind of visible sweating - gross but it happens people.

Topshop Petite Stripy Tee - £22 - This is actually for the After party just to feel a bit fresh and clean again! I spoke about this here for info on the links etc

Demin Short - River Island - £30 - not online - I actually adore these, being a bit bigger these days hot pants just arent for me but I love these and they were abit pricey. The only downside is the size I bought these in makes them a tad tight on me but the next size up were stupidly big so I think I may regret these when I have a bloated Jagermeister belly but I'll report back on that one!

KAPOW Tights - Sale £4 - Topshop - I shamefully bought these almost a year ago and featured in one of my very first posts here. These are perfect for the afterparty once the suns gone in and its abit cooler out!

CAT Tights - £8.50 - Topshop - BUY - Okay, so almost £10 on tights is a stupid price but I really love cats and didn't want to wear boring tights during the day. They''re meant to give the 'tattoo' look but I just want them for the cute cats!!

Zapato Del Barco Vans - Schuh. I bought these over a year ago and think I paid like £55 for them purely because I'd spend months trying to track them down in my size!! They are the comfiest shoes ever, the 'ropes' a bit annoying as they come undone a lot but I love them. I found some on Amazon here if you want to take a look

Whats your festival look? Is there anything you'd say is a go-to piece for a one day festival???

My Slam Dunk Make up bag is coming up tomorrow!!

This Weeks Beauty Buys feat. Lush, H&M, Boots Clearance, Topshop....and Poundworld?

This is a slight lie on my part as not all of these have been bought this week. I've actually bought some a few weeks back but as I've only bought 2 things, I didnt exactly think it called for an entire post.

Bunch of Carrots Bubble Bar - Lush - £5.95 for 3 - BUY

I actually posted about these here in February!!! (seriously, where is the time going?) and couldnt resist buying some a few weeks ago as a little self treat, I love that they're not only reuseable but the fact your get 3 for under £6 is a pretty good deal - I mean, I'd of bought one for £2 so selling them as a 3 makes sense. They smell so fresh and I cant wait to review these!

Wild Skirt - H&M - Was: £15  Now: £5

I actually bought this pattern in a Jumper a few months ago and couldnt resist this skirt - Its actually so tacky it looks good on me! If I wear this as the only colour/statement on me I think this will look amazing!

Black Washed Out Shorts - £12.99 - H&M

I bought these purely to wear to a Brand New gig this coming Monday, I adore the style of these and in fairness, I needed some shorts which were actually a good fit on me! (which is pretty depressing)

Umberto Giannini Stud Hair Band - Was £6 Now 50p - Boots (Clearance Section) - BUY

I should have probably taken this out of the pack as it looks odd here but its basically just a little head band that I thought for 50p was pretty good. This is actually still full price online but theyve been in my clearance section in Derby for a few weeks so I'd recommend checking out yours!

Boots Extracts Mango Mini Mix  - Now £1.50 - Boots Clearance

I dont know how much this used to be, but from the looks of the website they've changed the packaging so perhaps this is why theyve ended up on the clearance shelf! For a mini body wash and body butter though for £1.50 you can't go wrong!

Sheer Black Top - Topshop - Was £15 Now £3

I'll admit I didnt need this but every now and then in the sale I spot something for £3 and a little voice in me says 'You're in Topshop and this is £3....BUY IT' and then I do. I love a bargain especially in Topshop!

Nail Rock Caviar & Maybelline Baby Lips , £1 each, Poundworld

If theres one thing I'm not afraid to admit, its my love for a pound shop! Granted, theres a lot of rubbish in them but you can also find complete gems for brands - its often forgein versions / old stock or simply just familar brands. I think they're amazing for reviews though, especially if you're low on funds and if you hate it, its not the biggest blow to your bank account!

The Nail Rock was a very pleasing find as I've heard great things from beauty box bloggers who have recieved these!!!
The Baby Lips is actually the Japan/China (I'm sorry but I don't know the writing...if you do, please let me know below so I dont look so rude) version of the product so I thought for £1 I couldnt go wrong!!

I'm so tempted to put my top Pound shop finds on here...if you'd be interested in this idea please let me know!!!

What have you guys been buying recently, link me to your posts as I love to look at what everyone else has been buying for some inspiration!!!

March Lusts

So here we are yet again, almost at the end of another month!

Its actually felt pretty slow me, considering I went on holiday at the beginning of it and that feels like ages ago!!

I as always have fallen in love with many things and these are my 'please make me rich so I can buy these' list.

1) Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturiser - £23 - BUY
Everyone seems to love this product, I do think the tub is pretty small for the price tag but I'm yet to hear a bad review about it!! Plus, my skin needs so much added moisture at the moment!

2)Marc Jacobs Daisy Sunshine Delights - £48 - BUY
As I've said before, I will always feature a perfume in my lusts, I'll probably never own them but I lust after one each month and this one is amazing!! Its the perfect summertime scent - really floraly but also really light. This has actually reduced in  House of Fraser which was a dangerous discovery

3)Electric Blue V-Neck Cami - Topshop - £18 - BUY
This is a top I eyed up in the Petite section on my recent trip to Nottingham and annoyingly didnt have my size. I adore the electric blue colour of it and for less than £20 I can't really say no!

4)La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo (+) anti-blemish cream - £15.50 - BUY
Possibly the most hyped over product in the blogging world at the moment! All I've heard is incredible things and its on an amazing 'money back' offer if it doesnt do what it says youll get it back, which I think is a pretty powerful decision so I'm hoping amazing things!

5)Rita Ora Colour Rush Colour Rush Balm - Rimmel - Viva Violet - £5.99 - BUY
Whilst choosing which shade I wanted Viva Violet however, no where in Nottingham had it in stock so Its not on my to-buy list as I stocked up on nail polish instead!

6) Pro Longwear Blush in Stubborn - MAC - £20 -BUY
I saw this in the MAC shop and fell in love, its a much deeper Pink to what I normally go but I'd love to try this out and actually experiment with a new shade!

What have you guys had your eyes on this month?? Let me know in the comments below or link me to your lusting pages!!

Todays Nottingham Haul

Today marks my first weekend off work since November and as the boyfriend is working the West Ham game I thought I'd travel the 20mins to Nottingham for a shopping trip.

Last time I went was my Birthday last November and I'd never been before so it was quite brief and mostly me wanting to find the MAC store.
Although I've had an amazing day, theres just SO much choice of stores! everything from your standard high street to the best high end brands own stores!

I wished I was richer as it was an amazing place to shop but I did buy some lovely bits!

 Topshop

I was actually really good in Topshop, I nearly caved twice into spending more money but luckily?? they didn't have my size in what I loved so they actually stopped me buying, although I def won't be seeing if they have it online after!

I ended up walking away with this,
Topshop Lipstick in Whimsical - £8 - BUY

I've never actually bought a topshop lipstick before (minus the bullet - which I've now realised is quite similar) but I was recommended this shade so for £8 I thought why not?

Superdrug

Vaseline Spray and Go Moisturiser - £4.99 - BUY
I've mentioned countless times how lazy I am with everything so I'm hoping this will kick me into moisturising more!
Batiste dry shampoo in Cherry and Blush -  was £3.99 now £1.97 - BUY
One of the most handy essentials for inbetween washes. I didnt plan on buying these but the fact they were less than £2, I couldnt resist. I only pick these up when theres an offer as I think for what they are, they are a bit pricey
L'oreal Matt and Messy Salt Spray - was £3.75 now £1.85 - BUY
I recently read a post about salt sprays and heard this was a pretty good buy. I actually clocked it was only £1.85 a few days ago and even if I don't rave about it, I don't think I'll lose out.

MAC

MAC Lipstick in Rebel - £15 - BUY
The fact theres an actually MAC store in Nottingham makes me just want to buy things! I was going to buy the shade Heroine which has just re-launched but when I saw it in store, I couldnt help but think it was abit too purple for me. Rebel is a a deep purple so its still a shade  I'd feel comfortable wearing. Its also a Matte finish which is one of my favourites!

H&M

 Crop Top - was £6.99 now £3
Cut out dress - was £17.99 now £10

Boots

 Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner - £6 - BUY
Everyone raves about this, and I wanted to try it for myself! I currently only ever wear my Collection eyeliner which I discussed HERE, so I think a change was in order!

Rita Ora for Rimmel Nail Polish: £3.69 each - BUY
Pillow Talk
Breakfast in Bed
I mentioned about the launch of these what seems like ages ago but suddenly they are here, I adore these 2 shades. Breakfast in Bed has been sold out everywhere but I finally found the last one on the shelf!
You can view my post on the full range HERE
Nail Polish in Mind the Gap, Victoria - £3.69 - BUY
They were on 3 for 2 ;)
Primark

 Black Skirt - £5
Mint Green Skirt - £10
P.S Nail Varnish - £1 each
 Black Slip On's - £4
I wouldn't normally buy these but my vans were killing my feet as they've sadly worn away so these were just to save my feet.

Lush

Secret Garden Bath Bomb - £2.95 - BUY
I only mentioned this yesterday HERE but I love it
Brightside Comforter - £4.50 - BUY
King of Skin Body Butter - £5.50 - BUY

So thats todays haul, have you had any goo shopping trips lately? or tried any of these product to give me a heads up on them??
