Leeds Shopping Haul

Last week, I got to spend a whole week back in my home of West Yorkshire - On the Wednesday I got to spend a lovely day in Leeds with my mum shopping and visting the handmade burger co. (honestly, best place ever).

I, as always, thought I'd show you what I ended up buying and with the high street in Mid Season Sale, whats not to love!...

 Primark
 Door hanging hearts - £2.50 for 3
Our house seems to be lacking much in decoration as we're currently renting and don't want the post-move deposit scandal that landlords love - but I think these are so cute for like doors or something in our hallways
Hufflepuff T-shirt - £6
I adore these shirts! I've been after the hogwarts one for ages so couldnt resist this! I obviously geeked out and got my house ;)

Floral Lantern Lights - £6
Again with the decoration thing, These are perfect for our bedroom as its currently very very bare on the walls but I'm hoping I can somehow put them round our unused curtain rail (we have a blind).

Wonder Towel Dress Thing - £7
This is one of those things that's either gonna be awful or a complete genius idea! I'm that girl that after a bath or shower spends ages with a towel wrapped round her whilst trying to keep it secure the whole time. I will report back with my thoughts :)

 The Simpsons PJ's - £6
I love any clothes that refer to popular culture, especially pajamas as I spend all my non-work hours in them! I also love The Simpsons and seem to have a growing collection of things with bart on!

Handbag - £8
I love love this bag! For Primark, its such a good quality. I'm quite a snob when it comes to Primark and do normally buy things that still look more expensive - and when the stitching looks tatty I won't buy it!

Victorias Secret
In the past I havent posted what I got from Victorias Secret but I dont see the issue now, I've only taken pictures of underwear patterns rather than wasting your time showing you my knickers!!

Coral and Pink Nightie - Was £45 Now £21 -
I adore this so so much! I wouldnt normally spend that much on a nightdress but its so so pretty and the colours are beautiful and its quite understated but the lace gives it that slight bit of something.

 Underwear - Was £9each Now £3 each
These are honestly the nicest underwear ever!!! I bought 3 pairs at full price a few months back and I can't believe how cheap they are now!!

Debenhams

Benefit Agent Zero Shine - £18 (Used debs points) - BUY
I've been after this for months now! Theres some really  good benefit products just come out but I decided I needed to get this as the warm weather has been making me shiny too so if theres a good time to review this on my skin, its now!

Topshop

 Underwear - 3 for £10 (£4 each) -
Rugrats - BUY
Eeeee how amazing are these!! I only wanted the Rugrat ones to start with but then I saw the Mermaid ones then I thought for £2 I'll get more haha!

Henry Holland Eye Test Tights - Was£12.50 Now£3 - BUY
So so happy I saw these! I wanted these back in March time when I saw them in the Nottingham branch and was debating buying them for full price and whilst having a mooch whils my mum was trying clothes on, I spotted the last pair of these are refused to let them go! So happy with this buy!

 Dolly Shoes - Was£22 Now£10 -
I spotted these quite late on (and had put things back) but thought they were adorable and perfect for nice weather!

ZARA
Addicted to Black Top - £9.99
Pizza T-shirt - £7.99

Urban Outfitters

AJ Morgan Sunglasses - Was £16 Now £8
I was actually on the hunt for some new sunglasses after losing mine! I guessed I'd be spending over £15 as its prime sunglass season so was rather happy to find these!!

USC Closing Down Sale

Theres nothing I hate more than seeing yet another high street store close its doors. One of my first posts on this blog was all about the bargains I got my hands on when Republic closed its doors - you can see that little blast from the past here - however, USC bought alot of the closing stores and rebranded them whilst still keeping most of the stock / brands involved.

Working directly below the store, I couldn't help but notice the 'closing down 50% off sale'sign in the window. I wasn't sure if this was genuine or one of those 'closing down prices'-type sales! However, after chatting to a member of staff, its simply because they could no longer afford the rates the Westfield Centre (now Intu) were charging so as far as I know, its just this USC thats closing. Let me know if your local one is as I don't want to go and get my facts all wrong - and if you're in the Midlands then they close on the 23rd so get yourself to Derby for sooo many bargains!

These are the lovely bits I've bought - but I will admit, there will no doubt be another haul before the end of the month as there was just so so much stuff in there!

They do have some amazing offers on the website at the moment which I now regret finding!

  Cross Earrings - Was £5 Now £1
Diamond Shape Necklace - Was £5 Now £2.50

Studded Handbag - Was £45 Now £11.25
This was one of those amazing surprises when you get to the til and its even less than you thought! It also have a cross body strap for when I can't be bothered to carry it.

Grey Slouch Top - Was £18 Now £9

 Demin Skirt - Was £30 Now £15

Floral Print Shorts - Was £20 Now £10

Rock and Rags by Firetrap Elephant Print Dress - Was £18 Now £9
I adore the print of this dress and live in anything Jersey style!

Dunagree Dress - Rock and Rags by Firetrap - Was £28 Now £12

Is there anything here you also like? Also, if you see anything on the website you like or seems a great deal, link me to it as I'm craving bargains this month!!

My Month Of Primark Haul

Me and Primark are no stranger to each other. When it first hit the UK, it was very much where my family got our clothes from. Not being from a wealthy background meant that I could still have nice clothes at affordable prices and in honesty, this suited me.

As I hit university and said Hello to student loans, my shopping and fashion habits also ventured out and my love for Primark fell and I hated the fabrics/cut/feel/wearability and just didnt enjoy what the shop had to offer.

Now I've hit the real world again for some reason, I've found my love again for the high street shop.
Not because I'm poorer than I was but the shop itself has got better I think. They've started to plow better quality on the shelves and I think my hating phase has helped as I know exactly what I like / don't like to buy when I enter the shop now.

The past month I've been building up a collection of bits which I thought I'd show you guys...

The Simpsons T-shirt - £8
I adore this!! As soon as I saw it, I rushed to find my size! I reckon this will a top seller

Guns and Roses PJ's - £8
I hate to admit buying things like this as I think the whole 'classic rock' band t-shirt is abit overdone especially on girls who buy these tops with NO IDEA who the bands are. I'll happily admit I'm not a huge fan but a) My boyfriends favourite band is Guns and Roses so this has given me big brownie points and b) The shorts are adorable ;)

Snow White Socks - £2
My love for disney all over - I adore Primarks disney range but I'm trying to not get carried away, I've nearly bought it all!
Shaped Swimming Costume - I actually can't remember how much this was
I thought this was a great idea espeically as I hate myself in a costume as it is. I think it was about £7 so I couldnt really say no to this!

Floral Top - £8

Underwear - £1 each
Grey PJ Bottoms - £5
Fast Food PJ's - £6 How amazing are these!!

Wellies - £10
I bought these purely for our dog walks as I was sick of having wet feet and constantly worried about mud!
Snow White T-shirt - £8

Floral Print Leggings - £2
These were reduced from £6 but I thought they were lovely to wear with a big plain t-shirt
 Waterbottle - £1.50
As I've recently got on the gym bandwagon, I thought this was a great purchase. It also includes a freezer stick which is a great feature to keep the water cold!

 Sunglasses - £3
I'm normally quite picky with sunglasses finding alot of them don't suit me, but I thought these were lovely! The metal arms are lovely and it even comes with a case.

Jelly Shoes - £4
I realllly want some JUJU shoes this summer but I'm worried for £26 they'll rub or generally be awful on me so I've bought these as a bit of a dupe trial run just to see how I feel about them!

Have you bought anything nice from Primark recently? Let me know with a link below and I'll no doubt go out and buy them myself!!

The Perfect Excuse To Buy More Lipstick

I've seen a few people buying these lately and couldn't resist treating myself.

When it comes to Lipstick, I'll admit I don't wear it half as much as I should, mainly because I'm lazy when it comes to reapplying during the day, I take ages to put it on, I never know if it suits me and its often tucked away in my make up drawers.

Enter this 24 piece acrylic lipstick holder.

Not only does this show off your range of lipsticks perfectly as its tiered so they're always in easy reach but its super cheap too.
I bought this off eBay from this seller for an amazing £2.98, however, it's currently out of stock but I'm sure if you type in acrylic lipstick holder, you'll find the one for you.
It took just over a week to arrive from China, but I was not dissapointed. Its simple (not that you can expect much for less than £3), fits the lipsticks in perfectly and even lipglosses at the back fit in without tipping out.

The best part is I now have to go buy some new lipsticks to fill it as although I have the lovely ones at the front, the rest are mainly MUA and Lipglosses to fill the gaps.

Have you got any beauty storage that are a complete godsend??

Why its impossible to not spend a penny in Ikea

Growing up predominantly round parents who love anything old, vintage and quaint and living in a tiny 2 bed house, our house wasnt exactly the most contemporary hub.

As a result of this, I probably went to Ikea twice before I turned 18. (that sounds like it was some sort of overage law, but I moved out of my parents when I was 18)

All my friends always had the coolest stuff from Ikea and I'll admit, I think my parents have drilled into me the the pure shitness of flatpack furniture but moving 3 times in 3 years, means this is actually not too shabby for my lifestyle at the moment.

Whenever someone suggests a trip I know I need to tighten the pursestrings because you come away with the most random things. Because you REALLY needed that new 50p glass cup right?

After my boyfriend suggested an impromptu trip a couple of weeks ago, I of course said yes. Who doesnt want to walk around viewing beautiful rooms they'll never be able to afford?

I had nothing in mind I wanted to buy, We've been so many times in the first month of moving into our house, we've pretty much got shares in the Nottingham branch by now.

However, I still came away with some of the cutest bits.

I didnt go too wild but I still spend more than I should have,

Owl Cushion - Cover and Pillow bought seperately - £4 each  - BUY
Heart Mug - 75p  - not online
Photo Clip Holders - £1.85   not online
Glass Tealight Holder - £2.25  - I actually couldnt resist this I love all vintage cute looking pots etc. I'm actually going to put it in my dressing room rather than use as a tealight holder.  - BUY

This was a fairly good trip for me and I managed to keep myself from going mental

Whats the best IKEA bargains youve managed to find??

R.I.P Republic Haul

It seems like every company on our town and cities high streets are shutting up shop as they can no longer afford to stay open.

The stores around the country has been messing with our minds for months. One minute high street store Republic is open the next its in its last few days, then we saw it suddenly okay again, then it finally hits its demise in the last few weeks.

I happened to be in my local branch of Republic when the staff members also found out 2/3 weeks ago so I knew to keep my eyes peeled for their soon-to-be closing down sale.

After the chain went into administration in February this year, it was bought out by Sports Direct yet soon faced financial crisis just a mere few months later and announced 75% of stores were to close down.

Now, I don't know if your local store has yet to close its doors or is on its final days but my advice is get there as soon as possible.

With everything 50% off, its worth the trip weather you need new items or not. Its a great excuse to even buy the most staple fashion pieces for the same price as Primark The shop has been known to stock a variety of labels suiting most people with Crafted for the 'rockier' look, Miso for fashion and nights out attire and Soul Cal for the comfy and sporty types.

Personally, Crafted and Miso have been a few popular labels in my wardrobe over the years but like (as it seems most people) i stopped shopping there frequently a few years ago when I simply stopped finding items I loved but with 50% off in the closing down sale who was I to say no.

Heres the bits I bought with everything being half the retail price.

Back Pack (every girl needs one, however uncool they may be) - £12

Pink and White Lace Top - £8

Teeth Necklace - £3.50
Spike / Cz Earrings - £2

Wet Look Skirt (So much prettier in reality) - £10

Until I got home and looked at them, I realised I could team up the top and skirt. Not too sure weather I like it tucked in or out? Advice??

If you'd not yet been to your local store then I hope this is a reason too, I could of spent so much more if I'd of had the money but I think ive made some wise choices with some new staple pieces for this summers wardrobe. Has anyone bought any in the closing down sales?? Would love to see everyone else's bargains on here!
